Wine and Food Society of Clark County The Wine and Food Society of Clark County, (WFSCC) recently announced plans to host a live Wine Auction on Saturday, April 21, 2007. The gala event will be held from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Pike Art Gallery in Downtown Camas located at 411 N.E. Dallas Street. All proceeds from the auction will benefit WFSCC’s Viticulture and Culinary Scholarship programs. “This event promises to be a fantastic evening for guests to enjoy great wine and delicious food pairings in an elegant art gallery setting,” says Sanford Jones, Vice President, WFSCC. The live auction will feature dozens of rare and premium wines, private chef dinners and wine tastings, weekend getaways and many other wine related products. WFSCC’s goal is to raise over $5,000 at the auction event. Entertainment for the evening will be provided by Grammy award winning guitarist and national finger style champion Doug Smith who will also be accompanied by accomplished flutist, Judy Koch Smith. Miss Clark County and Miss Greater Vancouver will also assist with the event. Admission for WFSCC members is $35 plus one bottle of wine for the auction block.
