Trigger Your Metabolism, Get Better Nutrition

“You are what you eat,” Mom used to say. Well, Mom was, uh… wrong. You are what you absorb is more like it, and that’s harder to do than you might think.

The American diet, though seemingly bounteous, is largely a selection of substandard foods. Grocery store shelves and restaurant menus offer fare laden with artificial ingredients: preservatives, thickeners, dyes, and engineered components like high-fructose corn syrup and hydrogenated oils.

It doesn’t end there. When a product’s label says that it has been fortified with this or that vitamin or mineral, it’s usually a synthetic that has been added. These added nutrients are difficult for the body to process because they’re not naturally occurring in the food. “Fortified” foods don’t end up actually benefiting your body the way their labels imply that they will.

If you’re having trouble believing all of that, chew on this: the human diet has changed more in the last 40 years than it did in the previous 4,000 years. Our bodies simply are not programmed for what science and industry have done to our food. The body can’t process (i.e. absorb nutrients from) foods with artificial ingredients because it doesn’t know what they are. It can’t recognize them, it can’t metabolize them.

Aside from food selection, there’s another obstacle standing in the way of good nutrition. Even if you’re eating right, your body doesn’t absorb all the vitamins and minerals you take in, and the reason may surprise you: it’s your metabolism.

Metabolism is, of course, the way you burn calories. It’s also the way you absorb nutrients. If yours isn’t up to speed, the effect on your body goes beyond sporting an extra cushion around your midsection. It also means you’re going to miss the boat on some of the good things you eat. Sure, you’ll still get some vitamins and minerals, but the rest will pass right through your system and never be absorbed.

A good way to remedy a metabolism problem is with exercise. A consistent regimen will give a sluggish metabolism a boost, but it takes a while before your body receives the clue that you’re serious about your fitness program. That means there’s a bit of a wait before your ability to burn fat and absorb nutrients actually goes up.

There is a quicker way to give that laid-back metabolism a shot in the arm and start getting more nutrition out of your food. It even works for people who are already in shape. It’s called Z-Atin™ (zee-AT-in), a natural metabolic trigger made from compounds found in the Moringa oleifera plant. It’s available only in a liquid nutritional supplement called Zija™.

As Zija’s star component, Z-Atin is the perfect, balanced combination of beta-sitosterol, caffeoylquinic acid, kaempferol, quercetin, and zeatin. It naturally prompts the body to soak up nutrients and use them where it needs them most.

Without a metabolic trigger like Z-Atin, your body will still absorb nutrients, particularly if you are making smart food choices. It just won’t do it as fast or as effectively, and the metabolic rate won’t be as sustained.

As food moves through the digestive tract, there’s a time limit for absorption. It’s not just a matter of transit time; metabolic rate, too, affects the amount of nutrients you can pull out of your food.

Even if you’re an athlete and you eat most of your food from your own garden, Z-Atin can prompt your metabolism to work harder and get more from the food you eat. And because Z-Atin is a fundamental part of Zija (a nutrient treasure trove in it’s own right), you’re now even further ahead.

Moringa oleifera, the basis of Zija and Z-Atin, is being heralded by scientists as the most nutrient-rich plant growing anywhere in the world. Now native to most tropical areas, Moringa has a complex range of naturally occurring vitamins, minerals, amino acids (including all of the essentials), and other important phytonutrients. This powerhouse of nutrition also has mass amounts of chlorophyll, more protein than soy, and healthy helpings of omega-3, 6, and 9 oils.

Moringa also contains a host of anti-aging compounds that help slow the aging process by helping the body replace dying cells more rapidly while fortifying living cells. This has a positive effect on all systems of the body, including the most visible: your skin.

Created by one of the world’s foremost nutrition formulators, Zija is made from the best parts of Moringa’s leaves, seeds, and fruit. And Z-Atin is formulated into Zija using precise combinations of substances found in these key parts of the plant. Z-Atin is completely natural, and although it contains absolutely no stimulants, it triggers the metabolism to work harder.

When it does, your body absorbs nutrients better. But the benefits of a peppy metabolism go beyond absorption alone. Once the nutrients are into your system, an active metabolism is required in order for the body to use them effectively. Z-Atin launches your metabolism into absorption mode and keeps it there so that your body continues to use the nutrients you absorb.

Z-Atin is Zija’s magic bullet. It literally sets your nutritional process in motion, improving the effectiveness of balanced nutrients in the body—including the wealth of nutrients you get just by drinking Zija itself.
