Parade of Homes Opens Anew
Third Year In Washougal Builds Upon Past Success
The annual Parade of Homes event, which is produced by the
Building Industry Association (BIA) of Clark County, opens in
Washougal this month with eight brilliant new home designs
in a neighborhood called Allegro Ridge, which is located near
Washougal High School.
This is the Parade’s third year in a row in Washougal, and its
fourth year in a row in East Clark County (it was in Camas in
2003), and promises to be the best, say BIASW officers. The
event runs from July 14 through July 30, from 10 am to 9 pm
daily.
This year’s Parade has a number of special events, such as the
“Meet the Builder” meetings on July 15, 22, and 29 (all three
are Saturdays).
The builders are scheduled to be on site in their respective
showcase homes, and visitors can ask questions, talk freely
about amenities, design, construction quality, and future plans.
For those who are 55 and up, Tuesdays are “Senior Days” (July
18 and 25) where you can attend for half price.
If interior design is your thing, the “Color and Design Tours”
are a must see, so mark your calendars for July 17, 20, 24 and
27.
The tours are led by the respective interior designers
and design teams who have made the Parade homes so
spectacular. Make your reservation for these tours by calling
(360)694-0933. Space is limited.
