Lacamas Little League Statement on Investigation
New Lacamas Little League President Brian Kashas confirms the Camas Police Department has recently completed an investigation regarding the misappropriation of league funds during the 2006 Lacamas Little League baseball season.
"Approximately $20,000 in league funds was misappropriated by a member of last season’s board,” said Kashas. “We regret this occurred and our new board has implemented new policies and procedures to prevent this from happening again.”
Kashas said now that the investigation is completed, league insurance will cover the losses.
“To our parents and players, we want you to know our board is actively working to make this new season the best we’ve ever had,” said Kashas.
