Clark County Chapter of Credit Unions Elects 2007 Board and Officers
The Clark County Chapter of Credit Unions elected its 2007 Executive Board of Directors and Chapter Officers. We are proud to announce Julie Arenz, Business Services Manager of iQ Credit Union as President; Tony Ruestig, Business Development Officer of TwinStar Credit Union as Vice President; Ann Travers, CEO of Cascade Forest Products Credit Union as Treasurer; Megan Hackney, Staff Development Manager of Lacamas Community Credit Union as Secretary; and Jason Green, Branch Manager of Addison Avenue Federal Credit Union as Member at Large. Chapter officers include: Danette LaChappelle of iQ Credit Union as Scholarship Chair; David Quint of iQ Credit Union and Marianne Franks of Northwest Corporate Federal Credit Union as Directors at Large; Joanne Pearson of Northwest Navigation Federal Credit Union as WA Credit Union League Liaison; Jen Vera of iQ Credit Union as Credit Union Youth Development Council; and Kay Colclesser of Columbia Credit Union as our Immediate Past President. 2006 Chapter highlights include: a charity motorcycle ride fundraiser for Doernbecher Children’s Hospital; a toy drive for Bridge the Gap (a non-profit organization that helps Clark County’s abused foster children); sponsorships and support for the Vancouver Parks Foundation’s annual golf tournament; and three legislative events. The purpose of the Chapter is to: promote cooperation among credit unions; provide a means to exchange ideas and discuss issues of mutual concern; inspire continued expansion and services for all member credit unions; provide a training ground for credit union volunteers, staff and credit union leaders; and to enhance political and legislative involvement in our area, and in our state. |
