The 2007 Clark County Road Atlas is now available!
The 29th edition of the Clark County Road Atlas is now in stock and may be purchased at the GIS Map Store on the 2nd floor, Suite 232, of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin Street, Vancouver. The price including tax is $22.00. This 29th Edition is the result of cooperation between local government agencies throughout southwest Washington and input from previous Atlas clients. The Clark County Road Atlas is a great gift idea for long time residents and newcomers It includes detailed maps of all the trails and facilities at regional parks. The Atlas index makes easy to find those away football and soccer fields and other community facilities. The U.S. Geological Survey recently corrected location of Sturgeon Rock occurred just days before the Atlas was to be printed. An updated page was quickly created and rushed to the printer so that Road Atlas would reflect this change. The elevation at the summit of Sturgeon Rock is 4120 feet. The summit is located in Skamania County. The highest point in Clark County, 4108 feet, is located on the western flank of Sturgeon rock.
