In the early 1980’s Hollywood celebrities were among the first to use porcelain veneers, and for a good reason:

Women have long gone to their plastic surgeons requesting the body parts of Hollywood stars – from Angelina Jolie’s lips to Jennifer Lopez’s Derriere – and celebrity smiles are becoming increasingly popular. 

“Today, many people realize that their smile is probably their best asset. While veneers are costly, in a few visits a patient’s smile can be transformed, lasting a minimum of 15 to 20 years and making it a wise investment,” adds Dr. Chan. 

However, just as with eyes and noses, smiles are not one size fits all. Proportion and harmony with your own facial features is paramount.
