Attention, Vendors! Clark County Develops Registration List

A new online vendor registration system is making it easier for suppliers to do business with Clark County. “Our goal is to encourage the participation of local suppliers and increase competition to provide goods and services for county programs,” explains Purchasing Manager Mike Westerman.

While vendor registration systems are common across the nation, this is new for Clark County. The online list provides Purchasing and other county departments with a convenient way to find suppliers and send them requests for quotes or bids. Vendors are not required to register, but they are more likely to be contacted if they are on the list.

Sorted by the category of goods and services offered, the list also includes business name, headquarters address, remittance address (if different), business phone number, type of ownership, supplies or services sold, and contact information.

Suppliers that would like to do business with the county should register at http://www.clark.wa.gov/vendorreg/default.html. Registrations are good for one-year from the date information was last updated.
